Kelly Dodd says it's Braunwyn Windham-Burke's fault for both their Real Housewives of Orange County exits

Kelly Dodd has publicly slammed her former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke, blaming Windham-Burke for both of their oustings from Real Housewives.

Following recent news of a Real Housewives' cast shake-up, where it was revealed both Dodd, 45, and Windham-Burke, 43, were not coming back to the show, Dodd took to Instagram to share a series of texts exchanged between the pair.

"I hope you're okay, I know we've been through hell and back but I'm here," Windham-Burke is seen to have written in a text message to Dodd.

"This was your fault. We'd still be on the show if you didn't make things so dark and ugly and brought all that political 'woke' BS,'" Dodd is seen to have responded.

"Your lies about me, calling me a racist and a homophobe were horribly destructive and your phony storylines didn't help either," Dodd continued.

"Well I'm still sober and still gay, like I said if you ever want to talk I'm here," Windham-Burke responded.

"I can't believe this Braunwyn has the audacity to text me !! She went on a podcast .. She said she was fired from the show because we all didn't like her because she's gay," Dodd wrote in the beginning of the caption of her post.

"Not because she's a horrible person. Not because she treated everyone like s--t and made no effort to be friends with us. Not because she went on a press tour and made horrible accusations about us calling all of us homophobes and racist, Not because she's a terrible mother. Not because she's a horrible person to her husband.

"The only reason she was fired is because she is gay. What a f--king nut job classic narcissist!" Dodd finished.

Windham-Burke told Page Six that the texts were real, but Dodd had edited them to omit some key messages.

"The part of the text she so graciously cut out 'I wish you nothing but the best and hope you have a beautiful life,'" Windham-Burke told the outlet.

"Only Kelly Dodd would post screenshots of her own texts that make her look wildly immature. I guess that's what being bitter is like, and I tried to empathise with her, as you can see. I'm a big believer in growing and changing, and second chances (or in this case 10th or 11th chance). At the end of the day, it's just a TV show and we are still neighbours."
