Quaden Bayles takes on blockbuster role two years after bullying video broke hearts worldwide
Quaden Bayles made headlines in 2020 when his mother shared a video of the then-nine-year-old distraught after school bullies made fun of him for his disability.
The video prompted people around the world to reach out to Bayles, who has dwarfism, and get behind him.
Now, Bayles is getting the chance of a lifetime.
At 11 years old, he's set to appear in the next major blockbuster currently being filmed in Australia, Mad Max: Furiosa.

The opportunity came after Australian filmmaker George Miller originally reached out to Bayles and offered him the chance to appear in his upcoming film Three Thousand Years of Longing.
The film is due for release in Australia next month and stars some of Hollywood's finest, including Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.
The filmmaker was reportedly so impressed by Bayles' performance, he invited him to appear in his next film, which is Furiosa.
Miller revealed the news in an interview with Good Weekend Magazine.
Furiosa is the fifth instalment in the Mad Max franchise and also a prequel to 2015's hit film, Mad Max: Fury Road.

It's set to star The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth and Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and will be released in 2024.
Yarraka Bayles initially shared the video of her son online in February 2020 to show the terrible effects bullying can have.
"I've just picked my son up from school, witnessed a bullying episode, rang the principal, and I want people to know – parents, educators, teachers – this is the effect that bullying has," she said in the video.
"Every single…day, something happens. Another episode, another bully, another taunt, another name-calling.
"This is what bullying does."

In the video, Bayles, who has achondroplasia, looks distraught as he sits in a car.
"Give me a knife – I want to kill myself," he said.
"I just want to die right now."
The video prompted amazing reactions from the Australian NRL and dozens of celebrities, including Hugh Jackman, Star Wars actor Mark Hamill and The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal.

One of the most moving acts came when Bayles got to lead the NRL's Indigenous All Stars team onto the pitch at an All Stars rugby match in front of thousands of cheering fans.
He also had the chance to grab snaps with the country's most famous players, including Johnathan Thurston and Indigenous stars Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker.
