Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber comments on speculation he's removed his face tattoo

Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber's son has commented on speculation he's had his face tattoo removed.

Presley Gerber got the word "misunderstood" tattooed across his cheek in February 2020, proudly posing for photos after it was done by famed New York celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy.

However, more recently, the 22-year-old model has been spotted without the ink prominently visible on his face.

The tat can be clearly seen on a photo posted to Instagram 17 weeks ago, in April.

But across social media since then, most of Presley's pictures have been from a distance or featuring sunglasses, making the text a little harder to see.

He was photographed out in Malibu, California on Monday with a scar visible where the tattoo used to be, according to Entertainment Tonight.

On his Instagram Story, Presley shared a news report about his disappearing tattoo, cryptically captioning it: "where'd it go..."

It's not know if the ink has been lasered off or it could have just been covered up by make-up.

The model defended the now famous ink on his upper right cheek in a post back in March 2020.

"Most and a lot of people can get a face lifts, change genders, lip injections, etc and it's offensive to say anything in today's day in age but I get a little face tattoo and now people love to hate me.. Hmmmm?," he wrote on social media at the time.

His famous parents and sister, model Kaia Gerber, haven't publicly commented on his face tattoo.
