Pink releases new song Irrelevant, inspired by the overturn of Roe v Wade
Pink has released her first song of the year, and it's a pumped-up protest song reacting to the overturning of Roe v Wade.
Posting to Instagram this week, the singer teased her fans with a video of her singing the song, which she apparently scrawled on a piece of paper, and then jumped into the studio to record.
The Funhouse singer, 42, also shared a photo of a piece of paper, that revealed some secret lyrics to the song, titled 'Irrelevant'.

"I think it might rain today. Ash on the ground. Took all the heat we could take. AND THEN BURNED THEM DOWN," the note read.
She captioned the post: "Woke up. Got heated. Wrote song. Coming soon."
In another photo, Pink shared the other side of the napkin, where she had penned the title of her song in caps: 'IRRELEVANT'.
The title is believed to be a response to social media trolls who attacked the star after she shared her anger about the news of Roe v Wade.
Following the decision made by the US Supreme Court in June, Pink was one of many celebrities to share her outrage online.
"Let's be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman's uterus, a gay person's business or marriage, or that racism is okay – THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F---ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F--- RIGHT OFF. We good?" she tweeted.
She also shared a specific message for her trolls.
"And to all of you sad, old white men asking me if I still make music. I realise you're out of touch – so ask your kids…. Oh wait – you can't. They hate you."
In her video recording where she shared a teaser to the song, Pink, appearing in black and white, recorded herself singing the chorus.
"You can call me irrelevant, insignificant, you can try to make me small," before adding a playful "da-da-da-da-da" she can be heard singing.
She captioned the post: "Irrelevant #shutupandsing #challengeaccepted"
