Pink gets brutally honest in text exchange with mum friend: My baby is 'f---ing with me'

It's hard not to love Pink -- she's talented, hilarious, and most importantly, not afraid to tell it like it is.

Take for example, her latest Instagram post, which highlighted the realness -- and struggle -- of parenting in one brutally honest text conversation between the 'What About Us' singer and a girlfriend.

"Why do babies cry so much," the 38-year-old mum of Willow, 6, and 8-month-old Jameson, wrote. "I feel like he’s f---ing with me at this point." To which her pal responded, "Babies are c---s."

Pink clearly appreciated the retort: "Hahaha," she typed. "My next single."

So much so, that she shared the exchange to her 2.7 million Instagram followers. "I love my friends," the Grammy winner captioned the post.

And fans and fellow caregivers couldn't get enough.

"Sounds like me and my friend," one commented. "We have said that exact thing, they have to be f---ing with us. We start so many texts with 'This a--hole…'"

While another humorously added, "I thought we only said that word in Australia."

Pink, who is married to Carey Hart, regularly posts about her two children on social media. Last month, she made global headlines for her inspiring speech about self image at the VMAs (see the video above).

While accepting the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, the singer shared an emotional anecdote about her young daughter Willow feeling ugly, specifically "like a boy with long hair".

Of course, Pink handled it perfectly, revealing after her initial shock she made a PowerPoint presentation about the rich history of strikingly beautiful and powerful androgynous performers throughout history. 

It included everyone from David Bowie to Annie Lennox. Then she took it to her daughter.

"And I said to her, 'Do you see me growing my hair?' Pink recounted, 'No, mama.' I said, 'Do you see me changing my body?' 'No, mama.' 'Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?' 'No, mama.' 'Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?' 'Yes, Mama.' 'OK! So, baby girl. We don't change. We take the gravel and the shell and we make a pearl. And we help other people to change so they can see more kinds of beauty.'"
