Patrick J. Adams forced to apologise after sharing Meghan Markle photo: 'It was an embarrassing oversight'
Patrick J. Adams has been forced to apologise after sharing throwback pictures of Meghan Markle and their Suits co-stars from their time on the show together online.
The Canadian actor, 42, shared a series of posts on Instagram but swiftly deleted them, after breaking the rules of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
He shared an apology on his Instagram stories, saying it was 'foolish' and an 'embarrassing oversight'.

"The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in [SAG-AFTRA] continues to wage in its effort to win our membership realistic 21st-century compensation and protections," his post began.
"It was an embarrassing oversight for which I'm incredibly sorry."
He added: "So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course corrected me here and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead. #sagaftrastrong."

Adams played the 42-year-old royal's love interest, Mike Ross, from season 1 to season 7 on the hit show Suits.

Back in November 2017, during her first joint interview with Prince Harry, Meghan discussed her decision to quit the show, shot in Toronto, after seven years.
"I see it as a new change, a new chapter," she said.
"I've been working on my show (for) seven years, we were so fortunate to have that longevity, and I feel like I checked that box and am very proud of the work I've done there."

Adams, along with fellow Suits stars Rafferty, Gina Torres, Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman attended Meghan's wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018.
