Brittany Hockley explains truth behind 'heated' run-in with Nick Cummins

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but sometimes, looks can be deceiving.

The Bachelor alum Brittany Hockley has spoken out to clarify recent photos of her unexpected reunion withNick "The Honey Badger" Cummins. Last Thursday, while both attending the Iconic Swim Show, Brittany and the former rugby star saw each other for the first time since he shockingly chose no one during the show's season finale. The pair were photographed talking at the event, and appeared to be engaged in heated conversation.

However, Brittany cleared up the speculation while speaking with KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O Show.

Asked how she felt seeing him for the first time, she revealed she was shocked. "He was actually supposed to be in Bali so it was pretty unexpected," she said. "Somebody actually told me, 'Nick's in Bali and won't be here.' Then pow, there he was."

As for those "heated" photos, she said: "I've just seen the photos actually and they do look very heated. But to be honest, I think we were probably discussing whether we should have tacos or burritos for lunch. I don't think it was very serious at all."

She even said it was great to catch up after both being so busy.

"We actually had a really, really good catch up. Just what we've been doing, how we've been, the usual chit chat," she said. "It was very civil. It was actually quite nice to see him."

And even though she had her heart broken in front of the entire nation, Brittany said there is no bad blood with Nick. Though she's moved beyond wanting a relationship with him.

"No I'm so far past that. There is absolutely nothing there except, you know there’s still respect and a friendship."
