New couple? Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas 'set up' by Gigi Hadid

If you're a hot young thing in Hollywood, it's all about dating within your squad.

That seems to be the case for Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas, who have reportedly sparked a romance thanks to matchmaker pal Gigi Hadid.

Sources told Us Weekly that Gigi recently reintroduced Kendall, 19, and Nick, 22, and now they're texting each other. Oh the signs of modern romance…an emoji says a thousand words, right?

"They had flirty chemistry from the start," a source close to Nick told the site.

'Chains' singer Nick split from his girlfriend of two years, 2012 Miss Universe USA Olivia Culpo, back in June.

Sounds like the right time to get back on the scene to us – and Kendall's one piece of hot property right now.

"Nick was single and looking to date and there was an obvious attraction. He absolutely thinks she's hot," the source added.

Gigi, who started dating Nick's brother Joe in June, apparently "wants Kendall around all the time", so this is the perfect solution.

"She thinks it would be fun for all of them to hang out," another source said.

We wouldn't be surprised if this was all true. Squad leader Taylor Swift told Vanity Fair this week: "We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people. It's almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. It's so much more important than some guy that it didn't work out with."

So Kendall and Nick are keeping the romance on the down-low for now. We're calling it: Their couple name will be "Kick".
