Modern Family wraps last day of filming after 11 years

Can you believe it's been 11 years since the first episode of Modern Family?

On Saturday, Sofia Vergara — who plays Gloria Pritchett on the show — and some of her castmates took to Instagram to bid it farewell on their last day of filming.

Vergara, 47, shared a video of the show's cast and crew waving goodbye on a studio lot after wrapping Season 11.

"We're out of the party!!! Adios stage5! Modern Family 11 years!" Vergara captioned the clip in Spanish (watch it above).

The American-Colombian actress also posted a sweet and emotional video of the cast and crew singing Green Day's 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)'.

Recognising the end of an era, the TV star posted a gallery of images with the cast including one of her standing on a staircase with her co-stars — Ed O'Neill, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, Ty Burrell, Reid Ewing and Jeremy Maguire.

"I will never forget this set, this people, there where (sic) only good times. Thank you Moden (sic) Family❤️❤️ Thank you Gloria Pritchett."

On her Instagram Stories, Vergara posted a photo of her "two husbands" standing side-by-side — her TV hubby Ed O'Neill and her IRL one, actor Joe Manganiello.

Feeling nostalgic, Hyland took to Instagram to also acknowledge show coming to a close.

"11 years. 250 episodes. 1 Modern Family," she wrote.

Three days ago, Bowen shared a photo of herself with O'Neill calling working with him "one of the highlights of my career."

Gould who plays Luke Dunphy on the show, shared Vergara's farewell clip and wrote, "Thank you for being a part of our family through it all. Overwhelmed by the amount of time and love that went into this endeavour. I'm going to miss seeing these faces everyday."
