Mila Kunis brilliantly responds to divorce and pregnancy rumours

Mila Kunis has lived in the spotlight for years, but she hasn't let the gossip machine take her under. In fact, she's devised a foolproof way to avoid it completely.

The 34-year-old actress graces the August 2018 cover of Cosmopolitan and gets very candid about the untrue stories printed about her and her husband, actor Ashton Kutcher, 40.

"I don't read anything about myself," The Spy Who Dumped Me star said in her cover interview, a conversation with her co-star Kate McKinnon.

"I genuinely don't know what's written about me...other than I know that I'm pregnant about once a year and my husband and I are getting a divorce once a year. I know this because I go down the grocery store aisle, and I see it on the cover of magazines and I'm like, 'Oh boy, OK!'"

Kunis famously met Kutcher, 40, while both starring on the hit sitcom That '70s Show. Years later, they reconnected and in 2015 they wed in a low-key ceremony. They share three-year-old daughter Wyatt and 1-year-old son Dimitri.

The couple has learned to handle the sometimes vicious stories, but the Bad Moms star revealed the gossip can take a greater toll on other family members.

"The only thing that's upsetting is my parents and my grandparents sometimes get confused…At one point when I was pregnant, [the tabloids] said that I had an emergency and was rushed to the hospital, and my face was on the cover," she said. "The amount of stress that caused my family, nobody will understand."

And with her own father, there comes another level of curiosity.

"My dad is always very hopeful that the pregnancies are true," she admitted. "He's always like, 'Is there really another?'"
