Michael Jackson's youngest son Bigi, aka Blanket, makes rare appearance in TV interview
Michael Jackson's youngest son has made a rare appearance in a TV interview.
Bigi Jackson appeared on UK breakfast program Good Morning Britain to talk climate change to coincide with the United Nations' COP26 summit currently being held in Scotland.
Following in the footsteps of his late environmentalist father, the 19-year-old — who was born Prince Michael Jackson II but formerly known as Blanket — spoke passionately as he urged world leaders to take action.
"I do think it's important that we all know about it," Bigi said of climate change. "And I think we have some work to do, but our generation knows how important it is."

In the interview, Bigi spoke from his family's Hayvenhurst compound in LA, where his big brother, Prince Jackson, held a Thriller Night Halloween Party to raise funds for the Heal Los Angeles Foundation.
"There's a lot of history in this house and the studio here," Bigi said in the clip as he toured a room filled with his dad's memorabilia. "That's what he was all about. That's what each of us want to do: make things that people can enjoy and hopefully benefit their lives."

Jackson welcomed Prince in 2002 via surrogate. The King of Pop shared his elder children Prince Jackson, 24, and Paris Jackson, 23, with ex-wife Debbie Rowe.
Days before Bigi's interview with Good Morning Britain, Prince also spoke to the outlet about their famous father and the family values he instilled in them.
"When we were growing up, my father would say, 'We could have nothing, but you look around in this room, your brother, your sister, and me, that's all you'll ever have.' That's kind of all I knew."

"Because I'm the oldest, my father would always tell me I have to make sure that the group is taken care of and that I have to be the leader and lead by example."
Jackson died of a cardiac arrest in 2009. He was 50 years old.
