Michael and Kyly Clarke's 2-year-old daughter 'on the mend' after being rushed to hospital

Michael Clarke has revealed his little girl is improving after being rushed to hospital over the weekend.

"My [angel] is on the mend. Back [home] on the [couch]," the 37-year-old former cricketer shared on Instagram on Monday evening, alongside a photo of himself and his two-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee, 2.

On Sunday, Michael revealed he and his wife Kyly Clarke had taken Kelsey Lee to an emergency room.

He shared a short video of his wife and daughter in hospital, with the caption, "My little girl is still not doing well."

Kelsey-Lee had a separate hospital stint earlier this year.

On February 1, Michael shared a photo of Kyly holding their daughter as they lay in a hospital bed.

"It's not all rainbows and butterflies. One very sick little girl and one very worried Mumma. Fortunately all is [thumbs up emoji]," he captioned the photo. The next day he shared, "My little [princess] is on the mend."

The former cricket captain later revealed that Kelsey Lee was feeling better.

Kelsey will celebrate her third birthday this month. She was born on November 17, 2015 five weeks premature.

TODAY's Karl Stefanovic broke the news on the show during a live cross from Paris.

"On a completely different subject -- it is breaking news of the very best kind -- and I can report to you all back in Australia that from a very good source, that former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke and his beautiful wife Kyly have just had a baby girl," he said at the time.

Michael confirmed the news with an Instagram post.

"Thanks to everyone for all your very kind messages," he said. "Mum and daughter have both been amazing. Our little princess has daddy wrapped around her finger."
