Megan Marx FINALLY confirms she and Tiffany have broken up

It's official. Love is dead.

Since hinting a split a little while ago, Megan Marx has finally confirmed she and Tiffany Scanlon have ended their brief, but highly-publicised relationship.

In response to a fan on Instagram on Wednesday, Megan announced "Tiffany and I have broken up" ending weeks of speculation.

The WA couple, who fell in love after meeting as contestants on The Bachelor last year, had hinted they were no longer an item after posting a series of cryptic photos online.

Just weeks after moving to Bali together, 27-year-old Megan announced she was heading to Denmark, while Tiffany returned home to Perth, announcing she was "lost in life".

The trip home came days after Tiffany revealed her relationship with Megan was "the most challenging relationship I've ever been in." She said she even lost her job because of her sexual orientation.

"The job I acquired as a Catholic high school relief teacher was taken from me as a result of my sexual orientation" she told Popsugar. "It has become near impossible for us to get 'normal' jobs with our public profile."

The 30-year-old is yet to comment on the split, though last night she posted this Instagram story.

After going public in October last year, the couple have been prolific with sharing loved-up photos on social media.

In December Megan and Tiffany posed topless for Maxim, with the publication crowning the pair 'Couple of the Year'.
