Married At First Sight's Andy is actually climbing Mount Everest: Watch!
Remember Andy Hill? The lovable, gentle giant on season 4 of Married At First Sight?
Well, he's made good on his word to Vanessa -- that is, that he couldn't move in with her because he had some very important things to accomplish first, like climbing Mount Everest -- and has actually CLIMBED MOUNT EVEREST.
The 30-year-old Queenslander has been sharing his epic trip to the Himalayas over the last week, beginning in Kathmandu, Nepal. As of April 10, he had reached base camp at Mount Everest.
"Climbers memorial. Incredible the amount of lives this mountain has taken," Andy captioned a grinning selfie at the site.
A few days earlier, the former army man shared a fun video (see above) pretending to leap off the side of the mountain, with the caption, "This is how I avoid the MAFS attention".
He's also been bringing awareness to the conditions found on the mountain and the hardships many endure.
"These porters are paid by weight they carry. Some push this to the limit," he captioned a shot of a local man lifting a gigantic load of supplies. "This little tank was carrying 3 cartons of beer and a s--- tin of various boxes, not to mention his drinking water."
Andy and his Married At First Sight bride Vanessa had constant issues throughout the season as she believed his quiet nature clashed with her extroverted personality. Ultimately, she broke up with him following the final vow renewals.
