Former 'MAFS' star Nadia Stamp is now dating a cricketer

From MAFS to WAG! Nadia Stamp had been unlucky in love since appearing on Season 4 of Married At First Sight last year, but not anymore.

In March, two months after moving from Brisbane to Melbourne, the flight attendant found love with Geelong cricketer Glen Talarico. And their meet-cute story at the Melbourne Cricket Ground seems plucked straight from a rom-com.

"It was at a Geelong football game at the MCG," 30-year-old Nadia told Confidential of their first encounter. "I was sitting in his seat. I just got the seats wrong.

"Then I bumped into him again at the bar and we started chatting," she continued. "It was a really natural way to meet someone."

Nadia first teased that she was in a new relationship at the end of April, when she posted a photo to Instagram but placed a sticker on Glen's face.

"Went from third wheel to meeting bae and… I didn't see it coming," she wrote of their Noosa date night.

She also hinted at the new romance in another Instagram post weeks later, when she pretty much implied Glen, 37, was The One.

"Then finding that person who respects the very essence of who you are and who you are becoming -- that's magic. We call that a #modernromance #nevergiveup," wrote Nadia, who was dropped "like a hotcake" by her MAFS 'husband' Anthony Manton once filming wrapped last year.

While she's loved-up now, it was hard for Nadia to find genuine love since appearing on the dating show in 2017.

"A lot of people got a little bit excited about the show, going to events, being seen, telling their friends, and I was never sure whether people were being genuine," she admitted.

"Glen had no idea I was on the show and he didn't really understand what it meant... so he's more interested in getting to know me."

And it sounds like their two-month relationship is going from strength to strength, as this Friday the pair will make their first red carpet appearance at star-studded Gambaro Moët & Chandon Ball in Nadia's hometown of Brisbane.

Wonder if he'll meet the family while he's there…
