Married At First Sight's Jessika Power and Nick Furphy are dating

Two Married At First Sight alums, Jessika Power and Nick Furphy, have revealed they're dating.

"Nick and I can confirm we have started to see each other," Jessika told the Daily Mail on Thursday morning. "At the moment it's very new for both of us. A lot of people are weighing in on this, especially Nick's best friend [Telv Williams], however, we are not allowing people's opinions to hurt this. We are just seeing how it goes."

Jess — who relocated from Western Australia to Queensland earlier this year — confirmed she and Nick are doing long-distance for now.

"He's in Melbourne and I'm on the Gold Coast but we FaceTime every day on the phone," she explained.

Nick was on Season 4 of Married At First Sight and was married to participant Sharon Marsh. He told the Daily Mail that he knows his relationship with Jess will cause drama.

"People won't be happy with this relationship but it has nothing to do with them," he admitted. "Jess has grown so much after the show. Don't always believe what you watch on TV."

On Wednesday, Sharon left a comment on Nick's most recent Instagram post — in which he asked for Instagram users to stop sending death threats — telling him, "I believe you are a representation of who you hang around. Choose your friends wisely."

Jess split from her boyfriend Dan Webb following the finale of Married At First Sight earlier this year. The pair began dating on the show while Jess was paired with Mick Gould.
