Married At First Sight's Anthony calls wife Nadia 'frigid', incites outrage
Anthony from this season of Married at First Sight has undoubtedly caused some controversy in recent weeks.
In a teaser for Sunday night's commitment ceremony, the 33-year-old villain does the unthinkable and calls out his bride for being 'frigid'.
"For lack of a better term, you've been frigid," he said.
Previously, on Tuesday night's episode, Anthony was outraged to learn about Nadia's 'past'.
"Guys will tell you anything they want to get you to commit," Nadia said, discussing her previous relationships. "I'm not part of that game anymore."
Anthony seemed surprised to learn that Nadia actually had a dating history.
"In terms of romance and intimacy with Nadia, she's not comfortable with certain things," he said in an aside, basically telling Australia that Nadia is not "putting out".
"From the sounds of it, she's had guys in the past, and she's had no issues with them," he said. "And it kind of rubs me the wrong way!"
Nadia had previously excused his behaviour in an exclusive interview with TheFIX.
"I feel like his nasty side expresses some insecurities," she told us.
However, social media haven't been so forgiving.
In a previous commitment ceremony, Anthony "claimed" Nadia by saying "She's mine".
