Marilyn Manson pulls fake gun, flicks reporter in the testicles during bizarre interview

Marilyn Manson is back in the spotlight, and he's as brazen as ever.

Just days after squashing his awkward beef with Justin Bieber in which he called the pop star "a piece of sh-t", the 48-year-old rocker has given perhaps his most bizarre interview yet. 'The Beautiful People' singer sat down for a chat with The Guardian's Alexis Petridis, published on September 21. And things appeared to have gotten, err, very personal.

Alexis said it began on a startling note when Marilyn (real name: Brian Hugh Warner) hid behind a door and pointed a "realistic" replica gun at his neck. It got even weirder over the course of the one hour interview, as Alexis reported that the musician offered to wrestle him, asked him if he "was a poop man or a skat man," and requested that his girlfriend, photographer and model Lindsay Usich, expose herself to the journalist because "The Guardian is an important periodical."

But when Alexis asked asked Marilyn if he had trouble separating his real-life from his controversial stage persona, "Marilyn Manson leans over and flicks me in the testicles," Alexis wrote.

"This comes as quite a surprise: I have encountered a lot of unusual things as a journalist, but have thus far managed to get by without an interviewee touching my genitals."

Speaking about the tragic Columbine High School massacre, which happened in the US city of Littleton, Colorado, in 1999, Marilyn suggested that kids would be "better off" if parents "give them the money and let them make their own choice: guns or records."

Marilyn was blamed for inspiring the teen shooters, who were erroneously reported to have been fans of his, to kill 12 classmates and one teacher before turning their guns on themselves.

"But, honestly, the Columbine era destroyed my entire career at the time," Marilyn concluded.

Despite admitting he was "angry, confused, and upset" in the past, these days Marilyn feels "more happy."

"I think I’m just happy being myself. I think now, I’m much more charming and likable."

Addressing Alexis, he added, "I notice you’re enjoying yourself. And I’m sure in a moment you’ll take your pants off and I’ll smash you in the nuts with a beer bottle."
