Madonna cries onstage over Paris attacks: 'They want to silence us. And we won't let them'

Madonna paid tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks with a powerful speech at her Rebel Heart concert in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday night.

The 57-year-old wept as she told the crowd she almost cancelled the show but decided against it, because nothing should "stop us from enjoying freedom". Watch above.

The teary singer brought the Tele2 Arena to a standstill with one minute's silence in honour of the 129 people who lost their lives and those who were injured in the terrorist attacks.

She then invited fans to join her to sing 'Like a Prayer', dedicated to the victims and their loved ones.
