Liam Hemsworth shares sweet message to Miley Cyrus on her birthday
Less than a fortnight after the home he shared with fiancée Miley Cyrus was destroyed by wild fires, Liam Hemsworth is taking stock of everything he's grateful for.
Celebrating Cyrus' 26th birthday, the Aussie star posted an adorable photo of his long-term partner surrounded by balloons and cuddling their dog.
"Happy birthday to my sweet girl," the 28-year-old wrote.
"You're more precious than ever. So thankful to have you in my life."
Earlier this month, the couple's home was ravaged by the tragic Woolsey fire that devastated areas of Southern California.
On November 13, The Hunger Games actor shared a picture showing the home in ashes, with the letters "L-O-V-E" having weathered the flames.
"I am one of the lucky ones," Cyrus posted following the fire. "My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that's all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left.
She continued: "Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department!"
The Malibu singer was surrounded by family as she rang in her 26th birthday, with father Billy Ray Cyrus sharing an image of the group enjoying drinks and cake, which included his other children Noah and Trace Cyrus, and their mother Tish Cyrus.
"Thankful for this moment," wrote the 57-year-old.
"My thoughts and prayers with so many hearts that need mended. Peace and love to all."
