Lady Gaga and Christian Carino are engaged: Report

Lady Gaga is engaged to her boyfriend Christian Carino.

According to Us Weekly, the 31-year-old and her talent agent became engaged in the last few months, after Christian, 48, asked for her father's permission.

A source told the magazine that the couple, who began dating publicly in February, have held off on making any announcements or wedding plans due to the singer's health.

In September, Lady Gaga revealed she had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a chronic illness which, according to Health Direct causes widespread pain in different muscles and bones, fatigue, sleep, and memory issues.

She was hospitalised on September 14, and soon after announced she would postpone the European leg of her Joanne World Tour.

She told fans via an Instagram post: "I was taken to the hospital, it is not simply hip pain or wear and tear from the road, I am in severe pain. But am in good hands w/ the best doctors."

In her recently-released Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, the singer discussed her love life and the correlation between her personal successes and her professional ones.

"I’m always at a shoot with some f---ing great news, and my love life’s imploded," she revealed. "It’s a sad day when I’m doing the Super Bowl and, like, I’m so excited to do it but I can’t help but realize that when I sold 10 million records, I lost Matt [Williams]. I sold 30 million, I lose Luc [Carl]. I get the movie [A Star Is Born], I lose Taylor [Kinney]. It’s like a turnover. This is the third time I’ve had my heart broken like this."

Lady Gaga was engaged to Taylor until they ended their relationship in July 2016.
