Kylie Jenner reveals how daughter Stormi's name changed at the last minute

When Kylie Jenner was choosing a name for her daughter, she had two requirements: she wanted to name her after a weather phenomenon and she wanted the name to end with an 'ie', just like hers.

But one week after she gave birth in February, a last-minute decision saw the makeup mogul change her daughter's name from 'Stormie' to 'Stormi.'

"I was looking [at] nature names, like weather, Earth-inspired… Anyways, Storm was on there and I said, 'I kind of want an "ie," like me,'" she said during a tutorial with YouTube star and makeup artist James Charles. "So I did Stormie and it was always Stormie."

The 21-year-old then revealed that she had already bought items for her and Travis Scott's daughter customised with her original name, but for some reason she held off on making the name official on the birth certificate.

"I wanted to have a week of just me and her to see if I wanted to change it," Jenner said. "I had one other name in mind, but Stormie always felt like her name from when she was in the womb. It's almost like she chose her name."

But when the registry rang to confirm the spelling on the birth certificate, Jenner changed her mind at the last minute.

"Literally right then and there, I just changed it to an I," she revealed. "I said, 'Damn, I guess that's her name.' And I called Travis and said, 'I didn't put an E and went with an I,' and he was like, 'That's cool.'"

In the YouTube tutorial, Jenner also admitted that 'Willow' was on her shortlist of names list of names, but she chose not to go with that name as she already had a friend with that name,

"Willow was on there, love the name Willow. But I know a Willow, she's a great Willow and I'm close with her," said Jenner, referring to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's 17-year-old daughter Willow. "When you know someone with that name, you can't do that, it's taken."

As for giving Stormi a sibling, Jenner said that was definitely on the horizon for her and Scott, 26 -- and she already has a name picked out.

"I do want to have more -- when, is the question," she said. "Like, I want seven girls and then maybe I'll consider having a boy."

Last week, Jenner also opened up about her dreams to have more kids in a Snapchat Q&A with her best friend, Jordyn Woods.

"Am I going to have another baby? I want another baby, but when is the question," she told fans. "I'm definitely not ready right this second and I don't know when I will be. But yeah, when I do, I would love to share more of that with you guys."
