Kylie and Dannii Minogue recreate iconic ’80s family snap in Paris almost 40 years later

Kylie Minogue and her sister Dannii Minogue are in Paris and took the moment as a chance to recreate a special family snap. 

The sisters, now 58 and 54 respectively, decided it was the perfect time to give a modern upgrade to a family photo taken at the Eiffel Tower almost 40 years ago. 

“OK, we’re here in Paris by the iconic Eiffel Tower and we’re gonna attempt to recreate an iconic photograph from 1988. Can you do it?” Kylie asked her sister in the video shared on Instagram. 

Dannii wasn’t completely sure about it, though. 

“My goodness, I don't even know if I can pull this face anymore but let's try,” she said. 

Kylie was positive it would work and said, “Of course you can!”

The sisters then got into their positions and while some things have changed, others clearly haven’t. 

In the ’80s snap, Kylie wore a very stylish – for the time – double denim look, with her hair in a perm. 

Meanwhile, Dannii was dressed in an al white look, featuring some patterned tights and a high ponytail. 

“Sisters in Paris and just HAD to recreate this vintage family pic. One frame then. One frame now!!! Nailed it!! LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!” the Spinning Around hitmaker captioned the post. 

Fans of both sisters absolutely loved the post, and others were stunned that people could walk past calmly when seeing them both. 

“It really says something when the Eiffel Tower is the third most iconic thing about this post,” commented one person, making a very good point.

The sister trip to Paris comes just days after Kylie celebrated an incredible career milestone.

Her hit song, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, has made it to the billions club on Spotify.

Sharing her excitement of the huge moment on Instagram she shared a few throwback snaps from the film clip shoot, including her iconic looks, and reflected on the major moment.
