Kyle Sandilands opens up about weight fluctuations after facing the scales on air
Kyle Sandilands' history of health issues encouraged him to go on a strict diet last year after he was noticeably absent from the airwaves in 2018.
But the 48-year-old radio host, who is typically candid about his weight fluctuations, revealed this morning that he'd fallen off the bandwagon.
"Yep, I've gone up a bit!" Sandilands admitted after stepping on scale this live on KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie 'O' Show.

"I've gone from 130kg to 146kg," he told co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson.
Despite gaining some kilos in quarantine, Sandilands admitted that he could "care less" about the weight gain and is indulging in some relatable coffee binges in isolation.
"Plus I've got jeans on today, boots. A big heavy jumper, " Sandilands said. "I've guzzled six lattes this morning. All of that stuff weighs."

In February last year, Sandilands talked about cleaning up his diet, and exercising daily to keep his health in check.
"I was a bit sick last year, just from being a fat bastard and not getting enough sleep," at the time.

"I thought, 'I can't do this, I've got responsibilities'. So I've lost a bit of weight. Imogen [Sandilands' girlfriend at the time] has gone hardcore so the Coca-Cola is finished, I'm on the green juice. We installed a gym over Christmas so I work out every day, just lightly. She also has me on Youfoodz," he told the outlet.
Sandilands has previously told news.com.au that he downs 30 coffees a day, 12 of which are consumed during his radio show.
