Imogen Anthony addresses split from Kyle Sandilands: 'We still love each other very much'

Imogen Anthony is speaking out about her split from Kyle Sandilands.

On Thursday morning, Sandilands, 48, took to his Kyle & Jackie O Show radio program to announce that he and his girlfriend of eight years had parted ways because their relationship had "run its course."

However, on Friday evening, Anthony, 28, spotted a reporter outside her home and felt compelled to break her silence in a bid to put an end to the rumours surrounding the split.

"Don't trespass onto our property," the model said in a series of videos shared to her Instagram Stories. "So everyone's busting for details and quite frankly it's none of anyone's business. But, at the same time, there is something to be said about just shutting up all the people that are speculating and talking s---.

"So I'm just going to leave you all with this. We still love each other very much. We speak every day. We still see each other. We deal with things with each other. We share the farm. We share this fat lump of a dog plus all the others one. God, there's so much more to it than what people just see for black and white. There is such a grey area here."

Anthony explained that she and Sandilands were dealing with their own separate issues and that 2019 had been "one of the hardest years" of their lives.

She hinted that their breakup wasn't necessarily permanent.

"Yeah, it's sad. But it's also, you know, the end is... it may not be the end," she explained. "The end may not be nigh."

Anthony then put to bed recent reports that suggested she was "blindsided" by Sandiland's announcement on Thursday.

"That is 100 per cent not true," she said. "It was a mutual decision for it to be said [on radio]. We spoke about it that morning as I was actually packing to get on a flight that night and I just said, 'Do it. Do it now.' Media just f---ing make up what they want but at the same token, you got it straight from the source here... and Kyle will actually confirm that himself. So, shove it."

She finished by explaining how upsetting it was "being stalked 24/7" at her home, local shops and the airport.

Sandilands and Anthony began dating after they met at the shock jock's 40th birthday party in 2011.
