Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult steam up the Equals trailer with a sexy shower moment

Equals is the emo sci-fi love story we didn't know we needed…until now.

The film stars Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult as Nia and Silas, two co-workers living in an emotionally void world threatened by a viral outbreak of feelings. (Yep, that's the actual story line, we did not make that up.)

The two form a connection, which turns into a tumultuous forbidden love that they must conceal from a society that will deem them "diseased".  

The trailer features Kristen and Nicholas, both 26, getting steamy in a nude shower scene, because, y'know, it's their DISEASE. Wow, what a horrible illness inflicting these two…ugh!

Aussies Jacki Weaver and Guy Pearce also make an appearance in the latest feature from writer/director Drake Doremus.

It's due to infect cinemas on July 1.
