Internet freaks after photo of young George R.R. Martin bears resemblance to Kit Harrington

Game of Thrones fans have been seeing double, after a Buzzfeed news editor spotted an old photo of series creator George R.R. Martin, and realised he bared a striking resemblance to Kit Harrington. 

He soon shared his revelation to Twitter, posting a current photo of the 68-year-old author against the 30-year-old actor, writing "Wanna see something wicked f***ed up?"

"Call me crazy, but I don't see it," wrote one. 

Either way, we are seriously loving the throwback to '70s nostalgia.
