Kim Kardashian visits women's prison in a bid to help more female inmates
Kim Kardashian West has stayed true to her word to further her activism work with prison inmates.
After successfully advocating for the early release of reformed criminal Alice Marie Johnson in June, the reality star visited a women's prison on Friday, July 6, to learn more about the lives of prisoners.
With a few bodyguards in tow, the 37-year-old mother-of-three reportedly spent a few hours at the California Institution for Women in Corona.
According to TMZ, she toured the grounds and living quarters of the facility that houses about 1,800 inmates, and met with 15 women to discuss their life behind bars and fears about integrating back into society after being released.
Kardashian made headlines in late May when she visited President Donald Trump in The White House to discuss prison reform.
