Kim Kardashian only allowed director to film her from the waist up in This is Paris interview
This is Paris director Alexandra Dean is opening up on her interaction with Kim Kardashian when she interviewed her for Paris Hilton's documentary.
Dean said during an appearance on the Behind The Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast on Sunday that Kardashian insisted she is filmed from the waist up.
"Kim did not want me to shoot her trousers. Cause she didn't know that our lens was going to be as wide as it was," Dean recalled.

"So she didn't want the interview to start until we changed the lens and she knew it was gonna be a mid-shot. Kardashian takes it to another level. She has orchestrated everything around her before you get close to doing an interview.'"
On a positive note, Dean commented on how her impression of Kardashian was that she was "brilliant".
"She does everything. She's brilliant. And she's way ahead of most people intellectually," she said. "Which is why she was able to train herself to be a lawyer without going to law school, she's doing the, you know, the president Lincoln apprenticeship program for lawyers, which is actually a really difficult thing to do."

Kardashian, who was Hilton's personal wardrobe assistant, appeared in the documentary to discuss the ways the socialite inspired her.
"I think the best advice she ever could have given me was just watching her," Kardashian said in the film.

Last year, Kardashian credited Hilton as the reason she's famous today.
"I really would want to do anything for her, she literally gave me a career," she said in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "And I, like, totally acknowledge that."
This Is Paris detailed some of the emotional and physical abuse Hilton endured at a boarding school in Utah. She also discussed her leaked sex tape with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon and a rare insight into her trauma. The documentary has been viewed 17.5 million times on YouTube.
