Khloe Kardashian's ex claims she cost him millions, along with his NBA career

Former NBA player Rashad McCants claims his failed basketball career is due to ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian.

The 32-year-old sportsman was linked to Khloe, 32, in early 2009, months before she tied the knot with another NBA player, Los Angeles Lakers star, and now ex-husband, Lamar Odom.

According to Rashad, his highly-publicised relationship with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star ruined his time in the league (which, by the way, lasted only four seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves). He hasn't played in the NBA since the 2008-2009 season.  

"Without that situation in play, I’m at $60-70 million," Rashad told the Charlotte Observer, adding, "Easily."

While he didn't go into specifics about how exactly Khloe ruined his career, the North Carolina native made it clear that his short-lived stint had absolutely nothing to do with him or his talents.

How he got the figure of $60-$70 million ($80 - $90 million AUD) we're unsure.

Still, he's attempting a comeback with the BIG3 League that launches next month.

Meanwhile, Khloe -- who's since dated (and dumped) NBA superstar James Harden in 2015 -- is completely smitten with current baller beau, 26-year-old Tristan Thompson, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The pair are reportedly already talking marriage and kids, despite only a few months of dating.

As for how the Canadian basketballer is dealing with his famous new squeeze? According to Khloe, just fine, thank you very much.

"He accepts who I am," she told ESES in April. "He likes to protect me, which I haven’t had before -- someone looking out for me almost before himself."
