Kerching!! <i>The Big Bang Theory</i> stars to earn $1million per episode

Wowser! Big Bang stars Jim Parson, Johnny Galecko and Kaley Cuoco have tripled their salaries and will now be earning a cool $1 million an episode.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that contracts had been signed after massive negotiating between Warner bosses and the actor’s lawyers.

Season eight was supposed to kick off filming last week but had to be delayed due to failure to finalise contracts for all five main actors.

Warner Bros is expected to complete deals with the remaining two cast-members, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, in the next few days.

The hit TV show averaged about 20 million viewers an episode last season, making it the most-watched comedy in America. It’s also believed to pull in around $1 billion in the show’s lifetime.

In 2002, the cast of Friends negotiated contracts for their penultimate season which paid each of the six main cast-members $US1 million per episode.
