Kendall Jenner refers to Caitlyn Jenner as 'he' in red carpet interview

Kendall Jenner has been one of the most vocal supporters of Caitlyn Jenner, but she had a slip of the tongue while talking about her father's upcoming E! docu-series I Am Cait.

The 19-year-old used male pronouns during an interview at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York on Thursday, despite Caitlyn's wishes to be identified using female pronouns. Watch the E! clip above – honest mistake, right?

Kendall's heart is obviously in the right place, as she paid tribute to her dad for teaching her and Kylie "how to be mature adults at a very young age". Nawww.

Caitlyn's I Am Cait airs on E! in Australia on Monday, July 27 at 9.30pm.
