Love & Marriage: Huntsville star KeKe Jabbar has died, multiple US outlets are reporting.

The news was shared with social media star and YouTuber Marcella Speaks, who read out a statement from Jabbar's family.

No cause of death has been given. The reality star is reported to have died at the age of 42.

"It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved KeKe," the statement began.

"She passed away peacefully at home surrounded in love. She was a mum, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love and laughter.

"She will sorely be missed and at this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss. The Jabbar family and the Scott family," it finished.

Her reality star cousin LaTisha Scott asked fans for "respect and privacy" in an Instagram post and said the family was grieving.

"This is hard for our Family!!!!!" she added.

The reality star is survived by family including her husband and children.

Love & Marriage: Huntsville is on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

The show "centers around the lives of three high-powered African-American couples who come together to revitalize (sic) the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group," a synopsis of the show reads on the OWN website.

Jabbar joined the show last year. She last shared a video on her social media profiles in May.
