Katy Perry's new man starts fund to get Taylor Swift. Lorde's response rules!

Reports out today say Katy Perry's new man, DJ Diplo kicked off a bizarre public funding to get Taylor Swift a butt.

He posted on Twitter: "I started a petition on http://whitehouse.gov to include it on the federal budget." And then added: "Help Me In Supporting 'Get Taylor Swift A Booty' on #fundly."

Last checked, it has pulled in a staggering…wait for it…$45. It would seem not everyone would agree with putting a Kim-size booty on the willowy Swift.

But it's good to see Katy's ongoing dedication to sticking with douches.

However, it wasn't long before Taylor's bestie (which one, you ask?), in the form of Lorde came out in her defence, saying: "Should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm."

Childish? Yes. Highly amusing? Definitely.

It comes just a few months after Taylor, 24, hinted that there was a certain mean girl in the pop industry.

She told Rolling Stone: "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy.

"It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.

Guesses landed firmly on Katy, when she tweeted this the next day: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."

So, is Katy behind this body dig at T-Swift? Or is it just a Diplo-driven publicity stunt? Either way, high fives for Lorde.
