Katie Holmes seemingly confirms romance with chef Emilio Vitolo, seen kissing at New York restaurant

Katie Holmes has a new man on the scene.

The Dawson's Creek actress, 41, was seen enjoying a date with chef Emilio Vitolo, 33, at Peasant restaurant in Manhattan.

On Sunday, Holmes was seen kissing and sitting on Vitolo's lap, in photos first obtained by The Daily Mail.

Last week, rumours sparked that Holmes was dating the esteemed chef after she was seen on another date with him, according to TMZ.

The actress previously dated Jamie Foxx for six years but their relationship was kept private. The former couple split a year ago.

Prior to dating Foxx, Holmes was married to Tom Cruise from 2006 until they got a divorce in 2012.

She started dating Cruise in 2005 and converted to Scientology before eventually tying the knot with the Mission Impossible actor.

The exes share 14-year-old daughter Suri Cruise.

In March, Holmes opened up to InStyle about moving to New York City with Suri.

"That time was intense, It was a lot of attention, and I had a little child on top of it," Holmes told the magazine of life after divorcing Cruise. "[Suri and I] had some funny moments out and about in public."

"We were followed a lot when she was little. I just wanted her outside, so I would walk her around to find parks at, like, six in the morning when nobody would see us," she said.
