First Kelly Osbourne resigned, now Kathy Griffin has followed suit by quitting E! show Fashion Police.

The 54-year-old took to Twitter to announce her departure, just seven episodes after she replaced the late Joan Rivers.

Both Kelly and Kathy left the show after the racial scandal surrounding co-host Giuliana Rancic's remarks about singer Zendaya Coleman's hair "smelling of patchouli oil or weed".

"I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference," Kathy wrote in a lengthy note on Twitter.
