Kat Dennings announces engagement to rockstar Andrew W.K.

Kat Dennings is getting hitched!

The 34-year-old actress revealed her engagement to singer Andrew W.K., 42, after confirming the relationship over a week ago.

"Don't mind if I do @AndrewWK," the 2 Broke Girls actress captioned a post on Instagram that showed off her diamond ring.

The musician shared the same photos to his social media account and commented on the post with a ring emoji.

Dennings made their relationship official on May 3 when she posted two photos of her posing with the rockstar on Instagram. He first appeared on her account on April 29.

She previously dated musician Josh Groban between 2014 and 2016. They met on the set of her TV show when Beth Behrs introduced them.

"He's very witty on the Twitter and I saw his little tweets … and sometimes we would [tweet back and forth]," Dennings said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at the time. "She's always talked about how great he is. They've been friends for years [Behrs and Groban]. And she thought we were both, you know, nerds. So there, she was right."

She also dated Nick Zano from 2011 to 2014.

Meanwhile, W.K. was previously married to Cherie Lily in 2008. The former couple filed for a divorce in late 2019. Dennings still follows Lily on Instagram.
