Kasey Chambers reveals Keith Urban fantasy: 'We've all thought about having a child with him'
Aussie country star Kasey Chambers managed to snag British superstar Ed Sheeran for a duet on her new album Dragonfly.
But the divorced mum-of-three appeared to be particularly smitten with another collaborator during her interview on TODAY.
After she revealed that she'd gotten her old friend (and fellow Aussie) Keith Urban to duet with her on the track 'If We Had a Child', Entertainment Editor Richard Wilkins went and asked the very thing we were all thinking.
"If We Had a Child?" Dickie asked. "How does Nicole feel about that?" Nicole, of course, is four-time Oscar nominee Nicole Kidman.
"I figured the closest I'm ever going to come to actually having a child with Keith Urban is to write a song about it and then make him sing on it," Kasey, 40, said.
"Look, we've all thought about it. You've all thought about it. You've all thought about having a child with Keith Urban."
Chimed in TODAY co-host Lisa Wilkinson: "Dickie's definitely thought about it."
Alas, Nicole is the only person who knows how it really feels. But we're thrilled for Kasey that she got to live out her Keith Urban baby fantasy in song.
