Justin Bieber needs surgery after 'busting ear drum' while cliff-diving

Justin Bieber's got fans worried after injuring his ear drum while taking a dive off a cliff.

The 20-year-old tweeted this morning: "Busted my ear drum cliff diving. Doc says might need surgery now. Sucks."

After fans freaked out on Twitter, Bieber posted: "My ear drum might back us up a little but I'm still bringing you this new music. Much love. Damn u cliff diving!"

Before adding: "Got some exclusives on the fan club. We got a lot coming. No worries :)."

Phew, we got a little concerned there. Risk-taker Justin loves a bit of scary cliff-jumping, as this footage from his Hawaiian break last November shows...

We're sure girlfriend Selena Gomez will be there to help him feel better. The pair were spotted this week in Los Angeles enjoying quality time together at Drake's concert and the Hillsong Church. Talk about different date nights!
