Jonah Hill and fiancée Gianna Santos split one year after engagement

It's all over for Jonah Hill and Gianna Santos.

The Oscar-nominated actor, 36, and Santos, 31, have called off their engagement after one year, multiple outlets are reporting.

The former couple reportedly split about six weeks ago. "The spark went in Jonah and Gianna's relationship," an insider told Us Weekly.

Hill and Santos were first linked in August 2018 when they were photographed taking a walk through New York City. In October 2019, People confirmed they had gotten engaged.

Prior to their engagement, Hill purchased a US$6.7 million ($9.3 million) house in Santa Monica, according to Variety.

Since news of their budding romance, Hill and Santos mostly kept their relationship private.

Santo is a content manager at Violet Gray, a beauty company in Los Angeles, and graduated from Fordham University in 2011.

Ahead of the break-up news, Hill appeared to be having an emotional time.

Over the weekend, Hill shared an image of himself in lockdown with a long beard, writing in the caption, "I always feel very vulnerable when I shave my beard. Please vote."

Hill and his actress sister, Beanie Feldstein, still follow Santos on Instagram.
