Pregnant Jessica Simpson issues 'warning' after breaking the toilet seat in her bathroom

Swollen ankles, acid reflux and sciatica… These nine months could not go any faster for the very pregnant Jessica Simpson.

But the 38-year-old reached peak pregnancy woes today when she broke the toilet seat in her bathroom!

"Warning… Don't lean back on the toilet when pregnant," Simpson said on Instagram as she held up the broken toilet lid.

Despite this being her third pregnancy -- she and her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, already share daughter Maxwell, 6, and son Ace, 5 --  it's still not smooth sailing for the star.

In early January, Simpson asked her followers for ideas on how to reduce the swelling in her ankles, a common pregnancy symptom.

"Any remedies?! Help!!!!" asked the star, who eventually turned to cupping to relieve the fluid retention.

Then earlier today, Simpson also admitted that she was battling with acid reflux. But it's nothing a little retail therapy can't fix.

"Severe pregnancy acid reflux has led to the purchase of my very own sleep recliner," she shared on Instagram as she gave a less than enthusiastic thumbs up while sitting on her new purchase.

Poor Simpson also recently battled with Bronchitis for three weeks, which came just days after suffering from sciatica -- a painful condition that affects the back and legs.

"After a month of sciatica pain, followed by 3 weeks of Bronchitis, I figured since my feet fit in my sneaks today I needed to walk out a lot of anxiety!!" she said on Instagram.
