Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock recall both dating Tate Donovan: 'He Seems to Have a Type'

They say besties share everything, and for Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock, that includes boyfriends!

The actresses revealed in a new chat with Interview magazine that they were in fact introduced by their former boyfriend, The OC star Tate Donovan.

This Hollywood love triangle occurred over a decade before the whole Jen-Brad-Angelina saga.

"We were introduced by our former boyfriend; I say 'our' because you and I both partook of this one human being," Bullock, 55, said. "We both partook of Tate."

Aniston, 51, who recalled meeting the Bird Box actress at a Golden Globes party in the '90s, admitted Bullock had a "beautiful way of saying" they shared an ex-boyfriend.

"[He] was a very patient human being, given that he dates us both," insisted Bullock, with the Friends star adding that Donovan "seems to have a type".

"Talented. Funny. Kind. Introspective. Generous," Bullock rattled off, before Aniston interjected, "Lovers of architecture, lovers of interior design."

Bullock and Donovan, 56, were engaged for three years before splitting in 1995. Donovan moved on to Aniston the same year, spending another three years together until Aniston found love with Brad Pitt, who she went on to marry.

The actresses revealed that they met for a second time at a mutual friend's wedding.

"I sent you a note and you sent me a shot," Aniston recalled.

"I was looking for tequila but for some reason there was just Jack Daniels… Who drinks Jack Daniels at a wedding?"
