Jax Taylor breaks silence as ex-wife brutally slams reality star for moving on with publicist

Reality TV star Jax Taylor has spoken out about his new romance with his estranged wife’s former publicist of 10 years, saying he’s “in love”.

Taylor’s ex Brittany Cartwright, 37, blasted her ex-husband and co-star on Wednesday after she accused him of moving on with her former publicist, Lori Krebs, 42.

The Vanderpump Rules star said she hopes Taylor, 47, is “absolutely miserable” in his new relationship. Now, Taylor has confessed his love for Krebs, revealing he’s the “happiest he’s ever been”.

“I love [Lori] to death. You can’t help who you fall in love with. Everybody deserves to find happiness,” Taylor told Page Six on Friday.

“I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been, and I couldn’t be happier right now. My mental health has been so amazing since I’ve been with her.”

Taylor claimed that he and Krebs “love each other very, very much”, adding, “And she’s good for me”.

Taylor went on to say that Cartwright – who he’d been married to for almost five years and shares five-year-old son Cruz with – had “every right” to be upset about his new romance.

Breaking her silence on the news with an interview with PEOPLE on Thursday, Cartwright claimed the romance was a “complete betrayal”.

She then labelled Krebs a “snake”, although it’s reported Cartwright had already cut ties with her publicist at the time.

“I never wish bad for anybody, but they have to be absolutely miserable,” she told PEOPLE in scathing video teaser the day prior. “I hope they are.”

The remarks came after US outlets published photos of Taylor and Krebs in July 2026, appearing to look cosy together in a hotel in Mexico.

Later in the mentioned video, Cartwright claimed her ex “straight up told” a mutual connection “that he had slept with Lori”.

Cartwright also said the hotel the pair chose for their getaway was her and Taylor’s “favourite resort” when they were together.

Outlets have reported that Cartwright halted any future work with Krebs after the pictures surfaced.

In the interview, Cartwright likened the PR founder to her sister. She helped the reality star plan her own 2019 wedding to Taylor and later “guided” Cartwright through their “horrible divorce”.

“She knows every in and out of everything in my life and still chose to sleep with the enemy, basically,” she alleged.

A source has insisted to Page Six that Taylor and Krebs’ romance “did not begin until several months ago,” clarifying that “both were single” when they got together.

US Weekly reports that Cartwright and Krebs “haven’t been close in a very long time” and that the nature of their professional relationship had been “reduced primarily to coordinating media interviews”.

Cartwright and Taylor met in 2015, later to be married in June 2019. The couple have not yet finalised their divorce but officially separated in January 2024.
