Jason Biggs slammed for 'sick' Malaysia Airlines plane crash joke

American Pie star Jason Biggs has put his foot in it again with an ill-timed, insensitive joke about the Malaysia Airlines plane crash in the Ukraine today.

Upon hearing the news of the shot-down jet and the 295 people dead, the 36-year-old actor tweeted: "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?"

Jason's Twitter blew up with users calling him "sick", "gross" and "unfunny".

"Way too soon for a joke like this; families don't even know yet," one user wrote.

"Good comedians understand timing, the others, not so much," another commented.

Jason feebly hit back: "Hey all you 'too soon' a—holes — it's a f---ing joke. You don't have to think it's funny, or even be on my Twitter page at all… Truly — you losers are literally trying to find s--- to get angry about. Channel your issues elsewhere."

"In all seriousness, tho [sic] — HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh," Jason wrote. "It's saddest for the victims and their families, obviously. But Malaysia Airlines is apparently a GREAT airline. Gonna be tough to recover."

A handful of supporters defended Jason for "speaking the truth" and not joking about the loss of life, but rather the idea of "not wanting to fly on that airline". Hmmm, still not cool.

The Orange is the New Black star made headlines recently for hiring a prostitute to have a threesome with him and wife, Jenny Mollen.

The father-of-one also revealed to Conan O'Brien this week that he tried to drink his wife's breast milk from her nipples. She declined and put it in a bottle for him instead...
