Jasmine Yarbrough shares gushing birthday post for husband Karl Stefanovic

It's been eight months since their lavish Mexican wedding, but Jasmine Yarbrough is still very much in the honeymoon phase with husband Karl Stefanovic.

The shoe designer showered the This Time Next Year host with love on Instagram today as he celebrates his 45th birthday. 

"Happiest of Birthdays my love! Thank you for being my biggest supporter, my rock and my sidekick. I love you," gushed Yarbrough, who shared a series of happy snaps of their time together.

Stefanovic was touched by his wife's tribute and lovingly replied, "Awwww my love. The best post ever. Sorry I'm not there but working on your fav show at least. You are my heart and soul. Xx." 

The show Stefanovic was referring to is This Time Next Year, a program that sees everyday Aussies pledge to improve their lives in 12 months' time. And Stefanovic said that seeing their determination has made a profound impact on his own life.

"I've always tried to try and make my life a little bit better and to try and be a better person, and I think if I'm presenting that show then I've got to live by it as well," Stenovic told 9Entertainment last week. 

"I've tried over the last 12 months to two years to be a better person and to try and be easier to live with and to try and make life easier for those around me and it's a motto I continue to live by.

"The view from the top of mount Everest is great, but the view half way up is also very good," he concluded. 

Stefanovic and Yarbrough tied the knot in December at the stunning One&Only Palmilla resort in Cabo.

Meanwhile, Yarbrough recently changed her surname on Instagram, taking her husband's.

She previously told the Daily Telegraph, "I'm changing everything over at the moment. I'm getting there slowly. There's a lot to do."
