Jack Antonoff’s sly dig onstage two months after Margaret Qualley split
Jack Antonoff appears to have broken his silence on his recent split from actress Margaret Qualley with a sly dig on stage at a concert.
In footage captured at a Bleachers show in Los Angeles this week, a fan can be heard requestion Antonoff, 42, perform their 2017 hit Lets Get Married.

“Absolutely not,” Antonoff hit back with an awkward laugh.
“Read the news, brother.”
The crowd erupted with laughter at the sly comment, and Antonoff refused to play the track even when the fan revealed it was their own wedding song.
This seems to be the first time Antonoff has publicly addressed his split from Qualley, 31, which made headlines in July.

He also made it clear at his concert that Let’s Get Married isn’t about The Substance actress.
“I love that song and I wrote it, like, 11 years ago,” he told the crowd.
Based on that timeline, he would have written the track during his relationship with Girls actress Lena Dunham, whom he dated from 2012-2017.
After splitting from Dunham, Antonoff dated model Carlotta Kohl, before starting a romance with Qualley in 2021.

By 2023, they were married and Antonoff went on to feature his actress wife in the music videos for Bleachers songs Tiny Moves (2024) and You and Forever (2026).
Sadly, their marriage wasn’t to last.
In July, news broke that the actress and musician had separated after three years of marriage, with a source telling People their romance was “rocky”.
Qualley wiped most evidence of Antonoff from her Instagram and changed her handle from @isimostar, a reference to a Bleachers song, to @sarahmargaretqualley23 before news of their split was made public.
Fans have speculated that the couple’s 11-year age gap or Qualley’s recent rise to Hollywood stardom may have been a contributing factor in their split.

Some even claimed there may have been an affair, but Qualley shut those claims down fast.
“The narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue. There are no trust issues,” Qualley’s rep said in a statement provided to multiple US outlets.
“There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship. They have deep love and care for one another.
“There are only two people in this marriage, and the sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy.”
Qualley, who is the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, broke out in 2021 in the Netflix series Maid, then hit the big leagues with her work in The Substance with Demi Moore.
More recently, she starred alongside Australian heartthrob Jacob Elordi in post-apocalyptic drama The Dog Stars.
Antonoff has been making music for 25 years and has won 13 Grammys for his writing, singing and producing for his own projects and with other big-name artists.
He’s famously collaborated with pop sensations including Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey, and was part of 2010s band fun. before he started Bleachers.
