Iman shares heartbreaking tribute to David Bowie on their 25th wedding anniversary

Gone but not forgotten.

Iman shared a touching message for her late husband David Bowie on what would have been their 25th wedding anniversary.

"I would walk forever, just to be in your arms again," the 61-year-old model wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple in which the rocker kisses her forehead.

She captioned it simply, "June 6th. #BowieForever."

David (whose real name was David Jones) and Iman first met at a dinner party in 1990, where he says, he experienced love at first sight.

"My attraction to her was immediate and all-encompassing,” he told Hello! in 2000. "That she would be my wife, in my head, was a done deal."

The iconic pair were officially married on June 6, 1992, after holding a private ceremony in April that year.

In 2000, they welcomed a daughter, Alexandra "Lexi" Zahra Jones.

David tragically passed away in January 2016 at the age of 69 from liver cancer.

"As I always said: I fell in love with David Jones," Iman told The Independent in 2014. "I did not fall in love with David Bowie. Bowie is just a persona. He's a singer, an entertainer. David Jones is a man I met."
