'Three of us': Hilary Duff excites fans with cryptic announcement, prompting husband to clarify

Hilary Duff has confused her legion of fans after posting a cryptic Instagram photo with husband Matthew Koma, prompting followers to mistakenly assume she was pregnant.

The Younger star, 34, shared a selfie on a plane with Komer, 34, with the caption: "leaving for a little bit… the three of us."

Excited fans took to the comments to question if Duff was subtly hinting at a pregnancy announcement, before Koma quickly shut down the speculation.

"Not me thinking this was a pregnancy announcement," one person wrote.

"PREGNANT AGAIN?! YASSSSSSS!" an enthused fan wrote.

Another added: "Pregnant? Congratsssss."

Record producer Koma then addressed the clucky fans with a blunt comment, telling the followers: "She's talking about @stephanjenkins sitting behind us you baby crazies."

The couple share daughters Banks, three, and eight-month-old Mae. Duff is also mum to Luca, nine, with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

The former Lizzie Maguire star has previously opened up about growing her family after joking about welcoming "baby number 4" on Instagram in August.

Speaking on the podcast Dr Berlin's Informed Pregnancy Podcast, Duff also revealed whether she and Koma were planning on having more children.

"I think he totally would be down, but he recognises that I have to do all the work," Duff said of her husband.
