Heidi Klum's daughter Leni, 13, looks so grown up, rocks black dress and heels for family day

Heidi Klum has a mini-me!

The German supermodel's 13-year-old daughter, Helene 'Leni' Samuel, donned a little black dress and lace-up heels for a family shopping trip in New York City on June 12.

While Leni's biological father is Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, Heidi began dating Seal while pregnant with Leni in 2004, and she has stated emphatically that "Seal is Leni's father." In December 2009, Seal officially adopted Leni.

"It doesn't make [Leni] any more or less my daughter," The Voice Australia coach, 54, told The Mirror at the time. "She always has been."

"All it means is that both Heidi and I wanted her to have the same last name as the rest of us [Seal's full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel].

"It was about Leni. I don't want her to feel different because I know what that's like, being a kind of stepson. And I don't want that dynamic for my little girl."

The couple, who finalised their divorce in 2015, also share biological sons Henry, 11, Johan, 10, and daughter Lou, 7.

Heidi, 44, first met Seal in a hotel lobby while five weeks pregnant with Leni.

"I was not looking for anybody," says Klum, who had previously been married to hairstylist Ric Pipino. "He was just there. He walked in the door, and there he was. He looked good. I was like, Wow."

Since splitting from Seal, Heidi has been dating 30-year-old art dealer Vito Schnabel.
