Harrison Ford reveals which iconic Star Wars prop he has on 'a shelf somewhere at home'
It's been 38 years since Harrison Ford first picked up Han Solo's trusty DL-44 blaster in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope…and it looks like he's still attached to the old thing. Well, kinda.
The veteran actor, who reprises his role as the smuggler for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, told TheFIX that while he didn't keep the original blaster from the set, he does have a replica at home.

As for the original prop used in A New Hope…well, no one actually knows what happened to that. But the blaster used in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi was purchased by an anonymous bidder at a 2013 auction for $200k.
The actor, who is also known for playing the iconic roles of Indiana Jones and Blade Runner's Rick Deckard, also confirmed to fans at a Star Wars fan event at the Sydney Opera House, that he will be starring in the upcoming sequel to the 1982 futuristic adventure.
"We've got a really good script and a good story, a good director and a wonderful cast for the continuation of this story surrounding Blade Runner," he said. "I start that in the fall of next year."
It's about time! It's only been, oh, 33 years since Ridley Scott's dystopian sci-fi gained two Oscar nominations and won a BAFTA for Best Cinematography.
The Oscar-nominated actor will be joining Ryan Gosling in the highly-anticipated sequel, based on Philip K Dick's 1968 novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
In the meantime, you can see Harrison returning to the Star Wars universe after a three-decade hiatus, alongside his companion Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), whenStar Wars: The Force Awakens hits cinemas on December 17, 2015.
